Sugar Coated Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 lbs pecans, halved
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 F and grease one baking sheet.
  2. In mixing bowl whip together egg white and water until frothy.
  3. In separate bowl mix together sugar, salt and cinnamon.
  4. Add pecans to egg whites and stir to coat evenly. Then toss the nuts in the sugar mixture until coated.
  5. Spread nuts out on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Stir every 15 minutes while baking for 1 hour.
