Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp meringue powder
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 6 tbsp warm water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • food coloring

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, use a mixer to whisk together the meringue powder and powdered sugar.
  2. Slowly mix in water and vanilla.
  3. Keep mixing until stiff peaks form.
  4. Divide into small bowls to make different colors if desired.
  5. More water can be added to make a flood consistency if desired.
  6. Dry cookies at room temperature for a few hours until icing is completely firm before stacking and storing.
