Ingredients
#Sauce
#- 1 pound ground turkey
- 3/4 cups onion
- minced garlic
- 1 pound petite diced tomatoes
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp basil
Cheese Mixture
#- 24 ounces small curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 cups parmesan
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1-1/2 tsp oregano
Assembly Ingredients
#- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1 box oven ready lasagna noodles
Directions
#- Cook ground turkey, onion and minced garlic.
- Drain.
- Add petite diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, parsley, sugar, salt and basil, heat
to a boil then reduce to a simmer.
- Simmer for 1 hour then remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, combine small curd cottage cheese, parmesan, parsley and
oregano.
- Layer oven ready lasagna noodles onto the bottom of a 13x9 pan.
- Add a layer of the cheese mixture, then some shredded mozzarella.
- Repeat the previous step 3 times, ending with sauce on top, then a final
layer of mozzarella.
- Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
