Ingredients
#- 9 ounces cheese tortellini
- 1 pound chicken breasts
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 diced onion
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3 sliced carrots
- 1/2 tsp thyme
Directions
#- Place the diced onion, sliced carrots, chicken breasts, minced garlic, salt,
pepper, thyme, parsley and chicken broth into the slow cooker.
- Cook for 4 hours on HIGH or 8 hours on LOW. Remove the chicken breasts and
shred with two forks or kitchen claws, then return to the soup.
- Add the cheese tortellini to the slow cooker and cook for 15 minutes or until
they are puffy and heated through.
- Serve, garnished with parsley if desired.
