Ingredients
#- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 loaf Italian bread, sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 6 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- nuts (optional)
- 1 can pie filling, your choice of flavor
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
#- Butter a 13x9 baking dish.
- Spread pie filling on the bottom of the dish
- Sprinkle on cinnamon, nuts and brown sugar.
- Lay slices of Italian bread in the dish.
- Mix together eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour it over the bread.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Bake in oven at 375 F for about 45 minutes.
